14,000 / 16,500 strokes/min — up to 83% higher frequency than standard 9,000/min pneumatic tools. Cleaner cuts, faster throughput.
Standard pneumatic oscillating tools run at ~9,000 strokes/min. At 14,000–16,500/min, each cut takes a smaller bite — less tearing on foam and honeycomb board, cleaner edges on leather and textiles, and faster feed rates without sacrificing quality.
The 14,000 SPM model has a 10mm stroke (longer cut per cycle, good for thicker materials). The 16,500 SPM model has an 8mm stroke (shorter, faster cycles, better for thin materials and fine detail). Both use Ø40mm body and 0.18 m³/min air.
Higher frequency means smaller cuts per stroke, which reduces tearing and gives cleaner edges — especially on foam, honeycomb board, leather and textiles. But you need sufficient air supply (0.18 m³/min) and the right blade for your material. For very thick dense materials, a longer stroke at lower frequency can be more effective.
At 14,000–16,500 SPM vs 9,000 SPM, you're getting 55–83% more cuts per minute. This translates to faster feed rates, less material tearing, and cleaner edges — particularly noticeable on soft and fibrous materials. The X-Edge XOD-P110 (9,000 SPM) lists at $5,095; our 14,000 SPM model starts at $2,880.
The knife consumes 0.18 m³/min (about 6.4 CFM). Any workshop compressor delivering 8+ CFM at 6 bar will run it comfortably with headroom for other tools.
Yes. The knife is compatible with mainstream domestic oscillating cutting machines (JWEI, iEcho, RZCUT and similar). Send us your machine make/model and a tool holder interface photo — we confirm fitment before you order. Standard models ship within 1 week; custom lead time depends on complexity. MOQ is 1 unit.
